Nick Marshall (Mel Gibson) is a sexy, lover of all women advertising executive that’s at the top of his game.  When the position for Creative Director opens up at his company, Nick is ecstatic because his time to lead has finally come.  A big surprise however, awaits Nick when he finds out that the job has been landed by Darcy McGuire (Helen Hunt), a newcomer to the company.  The new campaign for the company is geared towards women and his boss felt Darcy was the ideal candidate.  After the big announcement, Nick has a life changing accident that he uses in his favor to try to out do Darcy and take her job right out from under her….He can now hear what women think!
