Pierre Dulaine (Antonio Banderas) is a dance instructor in NYC.  When he comes across a troubled teen, he decides to offer his services to a public high school nearby.  Amused by his request to help out at the school, the principle assigns him the worst students in detention that will sure have him running in the opposite direction.  But Pierre has bigger plans for the kids…he wants them to join a dance competition.  Inspired by true events, Take the Lead explores one man’s vision & belief that there is greatness in everyone.
